Great Lakes Granite

In 1993 Great Lakes Granite Works was formed as the first independent wholly owned subsidiary of Patten Monument Company.  The parent company has been serving all of Michigan since 1917.  Great Lakes Granite addresses a market niche for granite products used in the home and commercial office counters.  We have 2 showroom locations and 1 fabrication facility. Natural stone signage was added several years ago and allows both companies to work collaboratively to complete large and small projects.   

The company has established itself as the areas leader in quality and customer service.  Sound business practices learned from its parent company distinguish it in the marketplace as a company that exceeds customer’s expectations.  The pursuit of being the best is a quest we never tire of.  Our highly trained craftsmen invest themselves in each and every project they take on.

Over the years Great Lakes Granite has been in the forefront of the industry.  Always being the first to purchase the most current technologies and practices.  We have made all necessary investments to keep our company ahead of all others in our area.  Our staff from sales to installation is the best and most experienced in West Michigan. We have also invested in preserving our environment.  We currently recycle all of our water saving nearly 2 million gallons a year in expended water and stone slurry formerly sent into the sewer system.  We currently service the state of Michigan and concentrate mostly on the Western Michigan area.
